As a freelance animator, I collaborated on the Nicaraguan short documentary “Torovenado, Spirit of Monimbó”, based on illustrations by Lonnie Ruiz.

The project celebrates Monimbó’s vibrant identity and rebellious spirit — a community known for its creativity, cultural pride, and historic resistance against oppression.
My role focused on bringing the illustrated characters to life through expressive motion that reflected the color, rhythm, and symbolism of Monimbó’s traditional Torovenado festivities — where masks, dance, and satire become tools of storytelling and social reflection.
